SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST & CONTENT CREATIVE

I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and started my career with a field marketing internship with the brand Honest Tea over 5 years ago. 

 

I first truly fell in love with digital marketing during Instagram's coming of age and the beginning of the YouTube influencer boom. I spend A LOT more time than the average person on social media – dissecting successful social media brand campaigns trying to uncover who, what, when, and why each trend became a trend. I love watching how one person or brand's story can create a discussion that connects thousands, maybe millions, of people together who have never met. I am constantly trying to improve my skill set, so you may hear me say that I'll always be "under construction."

 

My grandfather is the King of Grammar and it has rubbed off on me throughout the years – that being said my loyalties lie on the side of the Oxford comma, regardless of writing style.
